if your looking for a good dungeon run use shouts "lf members with good gear and exp for a dungeon" if your using dungeon finder you must expect bad/rage/lows/afks/ and much more. its your problem if you join a random group using DF and its not going your way.

Agreed, DF is always a craps shoot. I'm glad that more and more of my FC are getting into the lvl 50 content, and when I run low dungeons I'm usually with 1 or 2 other FC members so it doesn't tend to be so bad.

Had my worst experience with Ifrit this morning (I'm sure there'll be many more) where the DPS didn't have the output to kill all the nails in time, and some of the DPS were still wearing lvl 27 white accessories.

What's required to unlock an optional dungeon, beside the appropriate level?

That's typically the only requirement.
