Slow moving backwards with "Default mode" camera

May I ask what's preventing you from using Legacy mode Camera?
Because that mode does exactly... what you said.

Walking backwards has it's advantages, because if you take a hit from back you will not block an attack, and you take more damage.
(or so I heard)
so certain people may prefer not to reverse themselves when going away from an enemy.

I'm at the moment but I would prefere to use the default mode while keeping the same advantage of moving backward at a running speed. Maybe with a controller the legacy mode is easier to use but with a keyboard and mouse I find the default mode preferable.
If there are 2 options it's because they do different things besides running backwards but one shouldn't give you a disadvantage compared to the other or it has no reason to exist.
