i feel SE need to take an hard stance against speedrunner in DF, speed running dungeon with DF must be considering as griefing the other since they will, most of the time, ruin your gaming experience (not all speedrunner are like this)

if you want to speedrun, go make a full group, you did enjoy your first experience don't go ruin the one of the other! is not because you was there before that give you the right to decide how the game must be played!

too much speedrunning, fast exp... have lead to a horrible community, because SE haven't stop this when it did begin. but CM/praetorium is still the end of your actual story and allows people to ruin this... is really really bad!

I really dont think so. Just as joining the DF as a person wanting to go quickly running the risk of getting people who wont and will refuse to, as a new person you run the risk of getting people who will refuse to go slowly. Its not a one sided sword- definitely double edged.

You dont have a right over another persons play style - as frustrating as that may be (and will be lol). You can't go reporting people because they are not playing the way you prefer- so not only do I don't think this should happen, I dont think SE would ever have this happen.

That said as demonstrated a few posts ago I don't mind systems that force you to hang back, especially as SE plans to add rewards for going with new people in these higher tier contents (making extra time taken not so bad (assuming SE calculated extra time taken as extra reward given)). But I am highly against considering pushing forward as griefing- of course excluding people saying "@#%$@#$@#$ stop watching the @#$!@#$ cutscenes you #$!@$ noob" that would be griefing.


@Ramsey: if you "can" get a premade or feel like making one then yeah there are some better places to farm, but if you dont then CM is a good choice since people dont fail it often unlike some AK and Primal parties - failing for an hour would make CM by far worth it in DF queue. (I, and imagine a lot of other people, don't trust DF for contents with much challange- but I trust DF for CM lol)

Couldn't agree more, so many people in this thread doesn't seem to realize or care that their arguments basically boils down to "I play the game this way, and I want SE to force everyone to play the way I do because my way is the only right way!!"

Congratulations, you've just experienced the best the Duty Finder has to offer. Enjoy dealing with this type of player for every other dungeon run you do.

The players who run DF in this game nerd rage more than any other game I've played. The amount of pent up aggression being unleashed in these groups beats anything I ever saw in WoW. When running DF, I quickly see why this game is gaining the reputation of having the worst community

WoW has too few cutscenes to make that comparable. There are still bosses coming out and stuff but they happen in real time, no need cutscenes. No really the same thing.

Actually, not all cut scenes are available at the inn room. Praetorium for example, you can only view the end sequences that happen after the instance is finished. None of the scenes within the run are available.

A lot of people do not seem to realize the market boards actually exist, or that anything sold on the markets could possibly be useful for them while also being affordable. This is true for max level in most MMOs. Hopefully this information will disseminate, but until then, I think most people have zero idea that they have more than one option for getting a weapon better than their 44 aetherial to go into AK with.

A lot of people aren't interested in gathering/crafting so they don't have the cash to spend on gear that can be easily aquired by running a dungeon a few times and will be replaced almost immediately. Some of us don't play this game to have another job. As for AK, it's not feasible to say a fresh 50 in all AF gear and lvl 30 jewelry will do well there. Either the group will have to carry him or it will be a miserable run. You have to at the very least replace your crappy accessories with DL to be comfortable in AK.
