Why don't quests reset on class change?

Well, you could actually make some friends and bypass the queue, but you don't seem very likeable.

Being condescending and making an assumption one has no friends doesn't really put you two up for the most likeable people of the year either.

Each class has it's own guild quests every 5 levels, but the main story can only be done once. It would be nice if each class had it's own unique story quests separate from the main story. It would make leveling secondary classes more interesting.

I told him several ways to go about putting his time in the queue as a DPS to use, And he responds with hostility. If he wants to sit in a corner and afk till his DPS queue pops instead of finding friends or utilizing the world, thats his prerogative, not something the devs have to fix for him.

I have to agree with Sylve, there's no lack of thing to do in the world. There's more quests than just the storyline, there's more dungeons than the storyline dungeons, there's alot of leves of every level, there are guildhests even. And as has been said, you don't have to do alot of the content alone. There are linkshells and free companies to join to facilitate quick partying. But all he seems to want to see is a fix to make his waits lessened. Can't satisfy everyone, I guess.

You have plenty of options for leveling secondary jobs. Hunting log, FATEs, Levequests, Guildhests (first time), and Dungeons. In fact, FATEs/Dungeons/Levequests are actually FASTER than quest leveling. I wish I had just skipped all the sidequests as I leveled and just did those, but it was a learning process.

You have plenty of options for leveling secondary jobs. Hunting log, FATEs, Levequests, Guildhests (first time), and Dungeons. In fact, FATEs/Dungeons/Levequests are actually FASTER than quest leveling. I wish I had just skipped all the sidequests as I leveled and just did those, but it was a learning process.

Guildhests actually provide the same XP as a solo Leve of the same level. They even have completion bonuses for no deaths and such that make them on par with solo Leves, theres just no limit on them. If you have a solid group of friends wanting to level, Guildhests will provide the same XP per completion as spamming Leve.
I think the only difference is with the XP bonuses for difficulty. Guildhests get better kill XP. So i think it rounds out.

Nope... I don't think I've ever met them, actually. There aren't any "guilds" in this game, by the way. Imagine how less foolish you'd look if you hadn't even brought this up. ^^

Going by his attitude before I even posted and his inability to group with people, it's a very safe assumption. It's just another child whining that they can't have things handed to them on a silver platter.

I've been floating between 65 and 80 allowances for the last two weeks, I don't know how people are able to burn through their daily allowance every single day. Go fishing, do your class hunting log, GC hunting log, crafting, exploring, chill in town and chat to people.

The world is your oyster, stop treating it like a pebble. If you don't like how the game functions you are more than welcome to put a well thought out feedback post in, just please stop complaining about having to work for some things. I bet you think gil is too hard to come by too.

reseting the quests is a bad idea. New questlines is the way to go.
