    Question about Regions

    My friend is station in Japan overseas. Is it Possible for him to join NA servers? Or will he be region blocked?

    Yes, you can join any region regardless of FFXIV copy, I live in Japan and I'm on NA server, my advance to him though, not sure if Japanese FFXIV supports English interface but if it does, tell him to set his region there as he can pay much easier that way.
