Steps:
Doing the Following in His Footsteps quest, I was at the point where I had to pray to the grave at Proud Creek. While I was praying, a nearby Dullahan attacked me. After defeating it, I prayed again, uninterrupted this time, however nothing happens. The quest objective still tells me to pray to the grave.

u gotta check the 'grave' after, following which you will realise it's empty and that the garb was stolen, you will then be asked to return to raya.

be sure to pick up another quest from her too which will grant u Holy.

Well thank you for your input Shuon, I just tried praying again and a message finally popped up saying the grave was empty and advancing the story. This had happened once before for a main story quest, unfortunately I don't remember the quest name, but now there is this, so hopefully they can fix it so it doesn't happen anymore. I don't know why it worked this time, I just killed the Dullahan nearby before praying again, and this was like my 5th time coming back to the grave to try.

mere /pray-ing alone wont advance the quest, one has to click and interact with (at least that's what i rmb). but then again i found out by sheer luck (accidentally right clicked). there really was no indication of any sort that we had to interact with it lol xD
