    End-Game Raid Question

    Hi Everyone

    I just have a question, I've tried to find out about it.. i can't seem to find it, due to it being hard to find or that i'm just looking in the wrong spot. In either case, i thought i'd ask here because it's more likely someone would be in the know.

    In the relationship between Bahamut's Coil, which is 8-man(yes?); And Crystal Tower, which will be 24-man, and able to be done through the Duty Finder. Does this mean that they are currently designing 'Normal" end-game as low player count but more difficult content; And then they're designing "LFR" style content around a high player count model, and i'm guessing the gear will not be as good as it's Bahamut's coil counterpart?

    If it's how i'm interpreting it, i think i will enjoy the endgame, as i enjoy being able to endgame with a small group of friends (or guild-mates).. but i know that my interpretations aren't always correct. So, if anyone is able to shed some light on their design intention for end-game, i'd appreciate it.

    Don't think anyone knows really at this stage.

    To my knowledge they haven't confirmed if Crystal Tower will be accessible through the DF? I could be wrong.

    Honestly if Tower is puggable through the DF it is going to be easy as hell. It will be a little harder than Castrum but generally on par with an LFR raid in WoW.

    They really need to do two layers of difficulty for raids - one for guilds and one for public groups. Otherwise your guild crowd get annoyed the big group content is so easy and your public crowd get annoyed they can't do an entire raid (Coil).

    SE got sloppy as they came to the end of their relaunch development cycle. They have clearly crafted a beautiful game but rushed important aspects towards the last few months. In that I wouldn't expect the raiding to make much sense or last very long for that fact.

    from what I seen the current endgame difficulty is a placeholder to prevent people from rushing through current endgame. Once more and the real endgames are released the current endgame will be adjusted so it doesn't block too many people from reach the upcoming endgame stuff like it is currently.

    Yeah, Titan HM is pretty much a soft block for the masses. Sure groups get lucky or coordinated guilds who are geared enough clear it consistently but on the whole a huge number of the community are blocked out.

    This is because Coil is a tier above Crystal Tower; we're not technically supposed to be in it yet.

    Twintania is hard blocked as well - it's a gear check and we don't have the gear available. Twintania will die a week or two after 2.1 i'm sure of it.

    ya once 2.1 hits there will be adjustments made to current endgame like the HM primal fights so a good amount of people can get pass them and enter Extreme Mode Primal Fights, crystal tower, binding coil and etc which are the true endgame contents.

    I heard there are also plans to get Chimera and Hydra into DF as well so people can join groups more.
