No Boat Rides, No Airships

I feel no sense of adventure, i just tele around. Nothing new to see, only like 10 areas that are all super easy to explore. Can we please bring back boat rides and airships im so sick of everything being CS teleport here or there.

I just want to fish on the boat, and protect the nubs who aggro i dont know say pirates?

These "useless and pointless timesinks" are some of the most memorable moments for players. They also allow you to socially interact with people and meet people, and make the world feel alive. If you want to play a lobby game, why not play PSO2?

That's nice that you feel that way. Did you actually play FFXI? 99% of the time on the ships people were AFK, only the newbs and fishers were above deck. Even boarding the ships was a chore because of the waiting timesink, so you'd see people autorunning onto the pier hoping to automatically board the airship. There are plenty of other places to socialize. Only very rarely did this magical socialization you speak of took place.

No, I'd much rather see the cutscene and be done with it.

Also your definition of a timesink when spun into logic means you find using the bathroom a timesink, as is washing your hands after using the bathroom.

"Even boarding the ship is a timesink"...standard airships took off 2 minutes after arriving, standard boats took off about 5 minutes after arriving, later versions took off much longer to ensure people actually get on them, you know player feedback that people were missing it. Guess what? You posting on these forums is a timesink as well - Everything by definition is a timesink, don't use it as if it's a bad thing

I get your complaints, but just because you CAN teleport doesn't mean you HAVE to.

I never played 11 at all but I love the idea of a boat or airship which takes 15 real time minutes or so to get me somewhere.
Chance to meet other players or (as mentioned) do some fishing.

Although I imagine the 200000 crafters sawing and banging would drive me nuts. Can't even visit a market anymore for more than a few minutes.

Travel that isn't forced isn't travel. If everyone has to walk it adds depth. If everyone teleport around. It adds nothing. There is no server community, because half of the game requires no communication outside of hitting Q for duty finder, and solo quests. I made hundreds of friends trying to travel to hard to reach zones in FF11 or EQ. Here, I just sit in Rev toll, teleporting around as needed.
