I know this is fantasy, but I can't even think of anything even close found on a real world animal that has that. What is it filled with? Obviously fur, which attaches to skin, then what's inside? Looks heavy, so maybe fat? Can't be all fat, but it's not like they flex it or anything so it's probably not muscle.

Makes me think of the angler fish, meant to entice other fish to getting close. Are moogles carnivorous?
