No because that linkshell is on your server and you would presumably run with them in the future, hence retaining the lessons learned from prior runs. DF is a random group of people from different servers; you run a substantial risk of people joining who have never even entered. I don't think a DF Coil group gets beyond ADS on turn 1 let alone Caduceus. Is it possible? Sure. Would I ever join a DF Coil group? Never.

WoW launched with MC and BWL, but they were the only real endgame content the game had until 8-9 months later... and it did pretty okay.

Make friends man, and u will go to CoB there are linkshels and Free companies for that. talk and interact with ppl and you will be rewarded. Dont expect the df to resolve the whole game xxD

The game is just started for me. I've yet to feel the whole Eorzea and uncovered the world yet. I still need to collect achievements and those 50 minions. End game? meh..

Actually, MC is out ~ 6 months after WoW is launched.
First WoW BG launched ~5 months around the same time as new Lv60 Dungeon, Dire Maul.

What about before ?
Grind Scholo / Strat / LBRS / UBRS for those lv54-60 set.
Grind LBRS for an epic recipe to drop for you to craft.
Grind Scarlet Strat for crafting mat to drop.

It had been worse than now.

As many have said before, join a fc or ls to run coil. It's not difficult to find people to party with if you aren't an idiot. If they opened coil up to DF you would be back on the forums whining about it being impossible to clear. Some things take effort to achieve, and coil is one of those things. If you don't want to put the effort into organizing your own group / joining an organized group then you have absolutely no right to complain.

My concern about current "endgame" is coil. It seems like the 25 (?) man content is intended to be before coil- yet people are progressing to coil and will have skipped that content by the time it comes out. That seems like a shame.

We intend to do CT. At the very least we can pick up gear for our alts in there.

I really don't understand this OP... In the time it's taken you to get so upset, formulate an argument, and post multiple times venting your frustration you could have done what some of the people here have said. Work towards getting with a group of people through the linkshells or a new FC that plan on doing CT. Chances are they'll have a voice comm server setup and you'll be able to join that when you run with them.

Are you new to the "raiding" scene man? People tend to schedule these things during the week/weekend at various times and that's the raid time. Is your schedule so unpredictable that you can't commit to a raid schedule..? If it is, I really don't know what to tell you. WoW is the only game with the "Raid Finder" equivalent of what you're asking for, and I really hope watered down versions of encounters never happen.

If you want to see "End Game," prepare to allocate times during the week to do so with a dedicated crew of likeminded individuals. Such is the nature of these games.
