All it takes from a crafter is a push of a button and since you've spent money getting the materia etc, why should I take more from you?
push of a button? NoOoo. Take look at the sweat we have to shed to level up from 1 to 50, of course we deserve a bit tip from those who lazy to do this! :P

leave that aside. Well I'm pretty much same like you lol, "How much does it cost?" | "You decide". but people here usually gave me tips

Just keep in mind it's going to go away once you trade it in for the quest, so keep a backup weapon.

People need to stop wasting money on buying materia. Spend the money you'd use to get materia and buy level 50 rings and necks and spirit bond them and convert them. You may get what you need on the first few, It may take 15 + trys. but you know what? It beats spending 75k each (which was the price on my server for the materia for the whitemage weap a few weeks ago)

It takes longer but you can save money. And who ever says they want 20k to meld materia needs to be punched in the dick. That's redic! I don't care how hard it was for you to level your shit to 50 doesn't mean you punish others cuz you wanted to level a crafting class. FFS. DO NOT PAY THOSE FEES. Most NORMAL people are VERY happy with a 1-5k tip for doing it. You know pressing a f'n button is so hard.

Materia Melding for A Relic Reborn Quest

Hiya, I have the whm wep (Madman's Whispering Rod HQ), the two quicktongue III materia, and the grade 3 carbonized matter for the relic reborn whm quest. When I right click on a lvl 50 alchemist (who the staff says can meld materia to it) or anyone else for that matter, the "meld materia" option does not show up in the menu. When the lvl 50 alchemist right clicks me, the "meld materia" option is grayed out. I am wondering if the meld option is not available because the staff is HQ or if I am doing something else wrong.

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated, thanks!!

It seems you haven't take the quest at Mutamix. Go check your inventory and see if you can convert anything that is 100% spiritbond to you into a materia. If you can't then yes you havent take the quest.

There's an old saying - time is money. Some people may not want to put forth the effort (and money) into spiritbonding items for days or even weeks at a time only for RNG to screw you by not converting the item in to the materia you need.

O.o Well indeed you are right at that. I saw the locked quest til I got a crafter to 19 and thought I would need to do that to get the meld materia option but there was another quest entirely. ThanX!!

I bought my precursor for 7k, and paid 2k for a very kind alchemist to meld it for me. materia x2 cost me 20k thought.

I used my precursor for 2 weeks, it's binding, no issue, I already gave it to the blacksmith npc.

Hence, the world we live in. Where people DEMAND a tip. A tip is only supposed to be earned if the customer deems that the supplier did an exemplary job and should be further compensated for something. I say FURTHER compensated, because you should already feel a sense of satisfaction just helping a peer out to acquire a relic weapon he/she most likely spent a ton of time to get the mats for.

Wow, switch servers? If you give me mats I will craft anything you need free of charge. I won't turn down a tip, but I sure as shit won't demand one either.
