Which job to main

Hello,

Need some advice on what job to main for end-game content.. All my jobs are 50but I would like to main one and pimp it out..!

It's either between PLD, WHM or BLM

Which is most in demand? My crafts are weaver, alchemist and goldsmith.

Welp, you've got a tank, DD, and healer there. Which role do you find most fun?

Most in demand tho, probably healer.

Generally,

for dungeons, Tanks are most in demand, then healers, then DPS. Because tank queues are so fast, they get geared faster and start queueing less as time goes by.

for raids, Healers are most in demand, then good DPS, then tanks. Most raid guilds tend to have a few good dedicated tanks that they don't need to replace very often.

But really, play what you think is most fun as you'll be better at it.

My Paladin is always in demand and he's fun to play. I do no damage at all but I'm a great main tank. Guess it depends on what you find fun. I used to play a healer/support class in another MMORPG. I enjoyed that too.

If you go healer I'd say try Scholar. Not sure why people say white mages are better. As a PLD I would rather have a heal that tosses an extra shield on me and scholars have that. Many guides say scholars are better healers for PLDs and white mages are better for warriors. I can vouch for that having been stuck in a group with two white mages and no scholars.

What would be the best job to start END-GAME with? Since I did not even beat ifrit yet..? You guys are making my choice harder to make haha

Unless you want to take forever to get the stuff you want done, go with PLD or WAR. A healing job will take slightly more time, but a DD job will take you a very long time.

UNLESS, you've got yourself a FC group and don't have to depend on duty finder at all. In that case, do whatever you want.
