Returning to XIV...

Just returning to the Rabanastre server for the first time since October '10. I logged on and ran through the cities to refresh my memory and noticed they were completely empty... Are there really such few people playing still, or is there another spot where the majority of the server pop hangs out? What have I missed in-game other than what I can read about in the update posts? Any info appreciated.

Seems the majority of players have come to reside in Ul'dah since it is like the central market as well as the in-between city-state.

Are there still mid-level players working their way up, or are a majority of the folks still playing all maxed out?

The population has gone down , i can tell by fact that i was in 2 linkshells one was 50 people the other 100 and when i log on about 1 person (myself) on the 50 people shell and about 4 on the 100 shell.

Maybe some left the shells joined new ones and maybe some just not online waiting for bigger update but it is worrying being a uk player on cornellia and seeing so many not online.

Saying this i still see alot of japanese players on cornellia and most people are based in uldah now because its become the sort of hub , i sure if new areas open up in future people will go there.

Most of party play i do in game is if i team up for behest otherwise i no one to party with.

Btw im a mid level player, i have 2 class in mid 20 ranks atm and my physical level is around 25 or 26

Had'nt made it through Ul'dah, just Grid and Limsa. I figured Ul'dah was the same so I did'nt bother at the time.

Ah ok, personally I love Limsa I refuse to spend most of my time in Ul'dah because everyone else is there. I can't wait for patch 1.18 so I can hop back into the game.

Ah....go journey into Ul'dah and Thanalan. Everyone is spending their lives there. Though I would so prefer to be in Limsa, seeing as I love Vylbrand's themes, and it is also beautiful.

I'm a mid-level gamer, so yes, I'll say there still are middies somewhere working their way up.
