Well... at 50 you can use the GC lvl 50 bow while you wait for "primal name here" bow or your relic weapon. For chocobo barding, I'd only do if you're planning on doing the achievement for buying it from all 3 factions (or unless you just want it ). Armorwise most of it will be obsolete by 45 when you get your artifact armor set (minus the coat).
