So many of us crafters are feeling limited (understatement) in usefulness. I know many posts have been made about adding Materia slots to end game dungeon/raid gear.

I propose to take this one step further.

Have base sets of PVP gear craftable without materia slots, then have the higher teir of pvp gear noncraftable but with materia slots.

This means you can gear up for PVP by crafting immediately but will be at no advantage to those who grind out pvp currency if it exists for entry level PVP gear.

Then it allows those hardcore PVPers to benefit from better gear than that craftable but still provides crafters with a revenue stream by requiring them to meld PVP materia to maximize effectiveness.
