Some people not liking that the raid isent a 24 man BLOB?

I like how its 3 large parties that do things seperate, then probably come together at the end for the final boss fight, i feel the 24 man zerg/blob DPS race is out of date and boring, everyone just standing around hiting their rotations and occasionally steping out of red zones is boring, RR has the chance to revolutionize raiding with this

Not really. All they have said is it will be three full parties, that sometimes fight together, sometimes split up, and will take about 90 to 120 minutes to run. Personally, i think this sounds awesome! It's such a change from almost all other raids i've played. The closest i've come is DDO where there are times in some that you have to split up your 12 person group. It sounds like a nice change from other raids in games where it's always the whole group together. I'm not a huge raid fan, but this sounds like it will be fun.

What I fear most is probably how dungeon loot will be handled in crystal tower. If it's 1, even 2 items per boss....something tells me there will be rioting.

Sounds like they are borrowing from FFVI with this idea.

But how does VOIP communication work when three groups are doing three different things then doing the same thing? Separate channels then everyone jumps into the same channel for big bosses?

Sounds like a big hassle.
