I take it you're upset because you've cleared the Binding Coil of Bahamut and have it on farm?
It is not a joke, but we do not know to what degree.
We are assuming 5 floors.
Floor one will be as hard as Ifrit, Floor 2-3 Garuda Floor 4 Titan Floor 5 First two turns in Coil.
It is meant to be a gear gateway to Coil. But easier doesn't mean not challenging. Expect Geared FC's to clear it in 2-3 weeks, Df 2 - 3 months
What you're not excited for Casual Tower?
since you missed the info, since the beginning crystal tower come first then binding coil on raid progression. It was postponed because he needed more fine-tuning because too difficult
the crystal tower (ilv80 gear) has always been before the coil (ilv90 gear) in progression, so why would it not be easier?
The start of the crystal tower is basically story content, and coil is true endgame, so why once again would it not be easier?
Just because they had to hold it back at 2.0 to 2.1 does not change where the raid goes in terms of progression. Why did they say only 100 players will down all 5 turns of coil before 2.1? mainly because we are missing the tower for gear progression and with the decreased rate without it only a very small number will be skilled enough to get it done based on the amount of gear they can obtain between release and 2.1.
Actually, it makes a lot of sense that 24-men content is easier than 8-men content.
a 24-men alliance is harder to ORGANIZE and recruit than a 8-men full party, yes, but the difficulty stops the minute the alliance steps on the dungeon. With each individual player only being responsible for 1/24 of the total sum of contribution to the group effort, there's much more room for individual players to make mistakes (or even die) without compromising the boss try as a whole. That in and of itself is a factor that makes 24-men content inherently easier.
In other words... When an individual player screws up, that has much more impact in a 8-men full party than on a 24-men alliance. People on 8-men full party content have a much smaller margin of error.
crystal tower was always meant to be before binding coil.
Based on this difficulty curve I'd cut that estimate to 2-3 days, especially if ilvl requirements are below Coil. As it stands right now with our FC we'll have our full 24 man group in primarily ilvl 90 gear/relic +1 before CT comes out.
With that said, I do hope you're right. If the fights have really fun/challenging mechanics rather than a gear requirement then it'll still be a decent showing. I'm really hoping they don't just get steamrolled... But again, it also means that we're going to be severely lacking on potential gear upgrades/end-game content until 2.2. We'll see how long a Twintania kill eludes us I guess :P

People want it easer ! Live with it, ARR is gonna turn into another mmorpg out there and F2P in year.
