As a level 50, I like the Fates ONLY for the seals that you get. I've no intention of FATE-ing the majority of my sub's levels.

I don't mind them. I just hope they are a little more interesting as they make them. While most of GW2's are pretty similar, they had some different and creative ones thrown in here and there.

I dislike the current fate system. However, it is a good basis fo
r something fun. It was fun actually grinding fates on my first job in 2,0 but as I level the others it has become monotonous. I actually set up camp and grind mobs for hours too.
The sitting and staring at a map starts to suck. Or even worse, two minutes of no fates then BAM five fates at once. Then back to no fates.
There needs to be an autogrouping for everyone, that way the forty people grinding fates can heal buff and coordinate better. If groups could be more coordinated, fate complexity could go up and become fun. At the same time, these groups shouldn\\\\'t interfere with people queuing for duties (RIFT does it this way with public groups). Set up some kind of contribution meter so we know how we are doing I still don\\\\'t understand if my healing is worth it when it comes to rewards, an what about te rewards for tanks?
I like FATE but wish they scaled to the number of people involved.

More FATE achievements with challenging ways to complete them; some kind of pattern would be nice because running all the way east to kill the Bellyful FATE and then BAILING mid fate to make it to the Pudgy Puk fate in the west is not fun. On that note, some kind of damage reduction buff to give everyone time to get to the fate would help as well. I\\\\'m usually first to te fates, but you know those who are newer or slower hate being last there and receive no rewards.
What about zone wide FATE events? The King Bomb is going to take over Costa Del Sol and blow it up. Waves of Bombs flood in from the south, and you have to win. If you win more bombs come in over the mountains to the west and a chain of fates with bombs, crazy wild life, and Qiqirn leading up to King Bomb on Costa Del Sols front step.
On top of players killing the bombs, Botanists and Miners are gathering supplies for cannons potions, etc and te crafters are using supplies to craft ammo, gear for NPCs alchemical buffs, maybe even giant Mammet minions, escape boats for civilians.
Now you have an epic fate event that includes te whole spectrum of your player base and an entire zone. With easy to follow paths and fun objectives. If down the road no more Gatherers or Crafters want to come out, te event can be completed with out their extra suuplies. If the players playing DoM and DoW can\\'t make it, you\\'ll have a giant Mammet army.
i DISLIKE F.A.T.E's because they are mindless, repetitive, boring. Just bring the Dungeon experience up and make other viable leveling options for the second classes.
I dislike the current FATE system. They give far too much reward for far too little involvement far too quickly. They have also basically ruined most other leveling aspects. You will find no one doing lower level dungeons. You will find barely anyone doing battle leve's. I do it only because at this point it is the better option to level up a secondary class.

I love fates. Every time I run out of quests for my lvl and get geared enough thru dungeons I can use them to lvl up to the next few sets of quests and a new dungeon to play in.
