leve rewards glitch

just recently completed the tier 3 operation shuteye leve in treespeak and when i finished the leve the reward was not given. in this case it cost me 7600 guild marks for my thm and a rusting scutum. this is not the first time i have seen this happen.

these tier 3 leves already take forever to build up the credits to do these with the horrible drop rate on stones 0-5 so far, but it is an additional slap in the face to not even get the leve rewards for completion.

Steps:
1. Started the leve and fought the mob
2. defeated the mob and got the chest
3. opened the chest
4. returned to war wolf to collect rewards
5. 3 of the party got the rewards but the other 2 did not although it shows as completed in my journal.
6. have attempted to zone because sometimes the rewards are just slow to show in inventory, but to no avail.

but as i said 400 credits takes a while to get, but the 7600 thm marks was my major issue because i have dealt with this before and know i will lose those like i did my other issue i reported months ago. the rusting scutum i could care less about, but i traded in multiple leves to be able to build this one up for the marks specifically. i mean at least every now and then a drop would be nice as i am so far 0-5 on tier 3 factions, but the rewards i am supposed to get i would expect to get.

i need to know what i need to do from here. at this point i am still keeping my completed leve in my journal so i could give more info if needed off of this, but it is holding up space. it shows me the rewards i should have received and the rewards i never got, but it shows the leve as complete so i don't know what i need to do. any input on what else i should do on my end would be appreciated. i just want to make the investigation as fluid as i can by having the item on me, but not sure if i should or go ahead and trade it in.

I saw this and thought a little and it reminded me that there is actually a time limit to claim your reward after the completion of a levequest. I can't say for sure it is the same with the special faction levequests but I am 100% sure that normal regional levequests rewards vanish forever if not claimed within a certain time period after its completion. It is possible you took too much time to claim your reward from the NPC at the end.

Example:
Finish Regional Levequest and the quest becomes labeled as completed at this point.
Aetheryte Node appears.
Do not interact with Aetheryte Node to claim your reward within a set time limit.
Your reward is no longer available and is lost forever at this point.

I know there is no final Aetheryte Node for the Faction Leves and the NPC is the equivalent giver of the listed reward.

Did you perhaps take a little too long between the time after the completion of the levequest and talking to the final NPC? The amount of time before your claim period expires could be 3 minutes or 5 minutes I could be wrong, I never timed it exactly. Maybe the 2 that did not claim a reward was just passed the time limit. You can post what the exact reward was for the levequest but I doubt you will be compensated for your loss.

no that's not the issue as we went back as a group and one crashed. the funny part was the one that crashed was one of the 2 that got the reward and he never made it to the gate. i'm not expecting se to compensate me for it glitching, but it makes it no less frustrating. i mean not like you can get 7600 class marks in every leve.

also if you do not go back to the atherial node because you zone you get the reward, but it does not show you that it was received.

I had something similar happen to me once. I completed a Fieldcraft leve, and the dodoskin shoes (or whatever) didn't pop in my inventory. So I called a GM in game and he put them in my inventory. Not sure if they can do the same thing with faction leve rewards, but it might be worth a try.

I had something similar happen to me once. I completed a Fieldcraft leve, and the dodoskin shoes (or whatever) didn't pop in my inventory. So I called a GM in game and he put them in my inventory. Not sure if they can do the same thing with faction leve rewards, but it might be worth a try.

ty this is why i posted this in here. i did not think that i was supposed to call gm for anything like this unless i was stuck. i was trying to wait on a staff member or someone to inform me of what i need to do. i don't even care if they make the leve like it hasn't been done at all and allows me to redo it. that way they wouldn't be giving me anything besides the chance to redo a glitched leve and earn my reward again. i don't mind working to get anything or even doing it twice as long as the end result is there.

just wanted to update the situation on the post i made on 5/1 titled leve rewards glitch. i started a leve during the leve party tonight and it issued my rewards from the leve that i posted about. i'm not exactly sure what took it multiple weeks to post rewards, but the rewards were given. i just wanted to give an update in case anything else needed to be passed on to the development team.
