It sounds like achievements aren't for you. You can't say that there's no carrot or that it's meaningless. Some people really enjoy completing the achievements, even if seeing them completed is the only reward. It goes back to the atari days when there were no rewards other than a higher score or just seeing something that most people never reach. Getting there was the reward. If that doesn't excite you, don't do it.

It's difficult to keep up your motivation.

Casuals say they want something that is difficult instead of time consuming, but then we get things like Titan. And you complain about that too.

10 years? That's nothing. One of the developers for Eve said it would take 25 years for someone to learn all the skills in that game. Then they added more and now it's about 28 years. Just saying, play the game and the achievements will come.

You can only do 3 guildhiests every 12 hours, once youv spent them all cause thats thier replenishment rate. No matter how skilled you are it will take 10 years to achieve this just based how the guildhiests/leves are set up is his point I believe. Its not diffacult by any means it just requires the game be out for 10 years and you be willing to play for ten years.

after doing the guildhests once, whats the point of doing them again? IMO I dont really see why, xp sucks after the first time doing it, takes for ever for the que to pop in the Duty finder and the boss doesnt even drop any loot....

Time and score attacks is nothing like this. It's just doing the same task over and over again, which requires no more effort than the time invested. It's poor design, and I would much rather them make achievements you feel accomplished for completing.

OP obviously never turned in 10,000 moat carp for his Lu Shang's fishing rod.

Eh, one could easily argue that the hard part of getting such an achievement is having the stamina or force of will to go through with it. Difficulty isn't just something that requires skill to complete.
