Friend List and Free Company

Not too sure where to put this as I can't really see a "suggestions" section.

This game is incredibly alt unfriendly, yeah I could just level all the classes on one character but I would like to experience all the different starting city quests etc and I'm not big on fate grinding. Basically I want to make a couple of alts but its incredibly annoying that your free company doesn't cover over your alts and what even more agrivating is your friends list doesn't even carry over, are you kidding?!

I mean I can understand the FC thing but just have the representation system or something, or the option upon character completion to join or not join your FC/selection of FC's you may be in. But why on earth is your friends list seperate, seriously, why..

If your alt can be in the same FC should be a decision of your FC leaders, not an automatic function. Just ask your FC leaders if your alts can also join the FC.

I think a system like gw2 would be more optimal than having alts in a guild clogging up member counts.

Playing Devil's advocate here, maybe an FC leader doesn't want members' alts being forced up him?
