How is your internet connection?
“What if life was like a vapor, rising up from the heated viscosity of our existence? One minute it is thick and robust, full of depth, but instantly it changed and separated to near nothingness. What would it be like at the apex of separation? That point when all the steam has left your existence….”
its sweet dude, running a 50mb fibre optic, was a broadband fault specialist so checked all my kit just in case![]()
I'm on Leviathan, and lagging in populated zones. If this is normal, well... it sucks. Sometimes it's so bad I will lag spike, but never been disconnected or anything that bad. Generally in instances or dungeons I have pretty solid connection as well.
I tried everything - opened all ports needed in router, tried a wired connection, tried rebuilding the database in my PS3... nothing seems to solve this issue, and I am chalking it up to PS3 limitations and poor data coding on the part of the game. It should better prioritize what information is being sent to the player.
Those who say you are getting NO lag, do you get some of these things? (input delay, rubberband effect, gliding while moving and using skill, FATE enemies not appearing, or appearing dead, etc?) Or can you play this game completely 100% smoothly no matter what zone you are in?
Playing on Siren I have massive issues around Coerthas on PS3. I'm talking about 5-10 seconds of sliding around after using an action. PC players have reported similar and I suspect the old hardware on the PS3 is making the problem worse. ISP isn't throttling and all my ports are open. This issue is on SE. I'm using Charter Communication and am in the central U.S.
