Relic +1 vs. Chest AF2

I went for Bravura+1. Yea, I've already gotten shit about it from people but I went with the idea that Turn 1 can drop the chest and I'd be mighty cheesed if I blew Myth tomes on something that can drop between the 3 weeks of farming back the Myth.

With that said, WAR's are kinda stuck as well. I've been told go for Chest (which I'm not sure I will due to Allagan dropping in Turn 1), but even with that, the AF2 head piece is poop, in my opinion. You lose parry AND accuracy from the Darklight combo piece, and even the hoplite at least has parry and accuracy.

What's everyone's take on that? Should WAR's go for Chest first or look more towards things like an easy upgrade to gloves, or maybe get a hero ring of fending since it + Allagan ring will eventually be BiS, as well.

Actually Darklight Chest/Head combo is Crit and Parry.

I had the same train of thought as you though. Yah, AF2 chest would technically be "better", particularly given the fact that I'm still in an ilvl 60 chest piece. But Allagan chest is even better than Warrior's chest, and it drops off of turn 1.

Personally, I'm going to go for the belt and/or accessories, so I can easily swap over to PLD once I hit level 50 on it, rather than sinking any more limited mythology stones into WAR.

Yes, my bad. Predicament still stands.

The loss of parry, to me, doesn't warrant me to blow Myth points on AF2 helm. Which then makes the decision on not getting AF2 chest pretty easy. But the AF2 chest does however cut the Crit out and grant a huge buff to Accuracy. Why'd the helm have to suck so badly? Allagan Helm, seemingly, doesn't drop until Turn 5. :/

Except Allagan Chest and Warrior Cuirass have the exact same stats, so even better? Hah.

Allagan = 24 Parry 34 Accuracy
Warrior = 34 Parry 24 Accuracy

Allagan is clearly superior.
