The idea is that there are different ways to play the game for different people, some dislike the dungeon concept but enjoy the crafting (Yes, there are those who have multiple capped crafting jobs, yet only 30 and below fighting jobs) and then there is the more common place that don't like crafting but enjoy doing dungeons and content in that method.
You can not expect your idea or what you feel is "right" to speak for everyone in the game, at best maybe a group but unless it is a united choice and doesn't impact the freedoms the game provides, the devs who build the world may one day implement it.
However, this idea breaks the notion of doing what what you want because you enjoy it and force everything into a tube that makes all of its stops. Because it does this, neither side will be happy and will more likely than not anger players rather than improve.
The end result is, it will be ignored. Plain and simple.
I'm all for improving the game but I don't think this idea is out of the oven and too imposing, Kudos for trying though.
