increase my fps?

I have a question to who will help me with this matter. I have never had a problem with lag or fps in this matter in any other mmo. (WoW, SWTOR, GW2, etc) i just recently started playing FFXIV 2 days ago, and so far i love it. But i have a problem with only 12-18 fps in bordless window. but in full windowed im around 30 fps, which i dont like to personally play in. I'm wondering if i need to update my graphic's card or etc. I have a basic computer nothing fancy atm. but here is my DXdiag.

A better GPU will serve you better for XIV. As I said in other threads, the game is very GPU dependent. I'd start looking at a 550 maybe, if you want to be very comfortable GPU-wise (Because if you get a new machine, you can always still use the GPU), look for a 660 or 670.

Actually two bigger issues I see, which culminate in the fact that you need a new computer, a desktop preferably, unless of course lenovo actually makes desktops and not laptops which is what that looks like. Of the two other issues i'm seeing the biggest is: Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G640 @ 2.80GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz; How you are able to even run the game is a major surprise. Minimum specs for the game is a dual core 3.0 GHz processor.

Your second issue is most definitely the GPU and heres why:

These are the specs for your card. Now I have a 550ti which in and of itself is a pretty below par card, but it's GFLOPS sit at 691.2 whereas yours sit at either 155.5 or 268.8.

Now this isn't to say that a laptop can't run FFXIV, but it has to have pretty good specs to do so, if this is a desktop, you may want to consider just building a whole new one.

Lenovo definitely makes both towers and laptops, I believe his system is just a generic PC out of the box and should go with Gonzo's advice on a custom built rig. I spent 800 and got an amazing setup that will treat me great for years to come, and is very future proof.
