I agree, Chrysania. I got ACN to 50 with a break to play THM to 30 (for swiftcast). Changed gears & got Fisher to 50. Liked the looks of PUG & got just shy of 15 and wow, do I miss questing. More quests would be great, but I'd be happy with quest completions being tracked / class. Let me do those solo duty quests and put my PUG skills & training to the test. I'd gladly do all the quests again.

They clearly want us to multi-class on the same character, but the grind that awaits when there are no quests left is just depressing. So, I guess my wishlist would be:
    1. Story/Side quest completions tracked / class
    2. Add more quests, especially 40-50
    3. Boost XP in DF (similar XP / hour to a leisurely questing session)
    4. Boost XP for battle leves (shouldn't feel like a waste to not use them for DOH/DOL)

I'd really like to level up CNJ and the tank classes (I like tanking and healing roles), but the grind I have to look forward to makes me feel burned out just thinking about it.

I've just hit 45 BLM quest and got my gear, was so excited, unlocked few quests at 45 did them and turned the game off. Never have I felt so underwhelmed after ploughing through 10 levels, this game gives nothing back for the effort put in. It's just too staggered and fractured you spend hours and hours getting to a point and them bam you have your reward and nothing to do with it I've never known anything like it #depressed

The quest design is ok til lvl 30 around,
but then the "Love" the quests are made and the storyline change into "unloveliness",
for me there are 2 dev teams: 1 who didnt finish the game with quests and story,
and one dev team who worked really hard for the beginning of the game,

    The Point is:

    - You can make fates til lvl 50, is ok, belongs to the game
    - You can make dungeons til lvl 50,is ok, belongs to the game,
    - YOU CANT MAKE QUESTS til lvl 50, cause they are not enough there, BELONGS TO THE GAME

And as consequence it is a bad bad asia grinder from Lvl 40 to 50 and this mistake will cost FF14 many customers.

Totally agree with you, the game is perfection almost up to level 30, it draws you in and seems to get everything right, then it's pretty much a case of oh well nothing really happened now for 8 levels see you in 20 hours after a serious bore/grindfest and we will give you 3/4 new quests to do before your next 10 level grind.

May I suggest that additional quest lines be added and only unlocked when you start your 2nd (3rd, 4th, etc.) job. This would give added backstory/lore/etc. and needed quest exp to level the added job(s) without getting into a boring grind. Admittedly it DOES mean additional work for writers and devs, but if Yoshi's goal of having FFXIV last for 10 years, they WILL be needed to keep people busy and exploring.

End-game content cannot do it all. There needs to be a way to keep those that want to keep adding jobs busy without getting them bored. Yoshi and the devs would be smart not to ignore the lower levels while adding end-game content.

FFXIV seems to be based on multiple swings through the lower levels and keeping them fresh with new and surprising new content and quests would do much in making FFXIV different from other MMOs that just concentrate on adding end-game content.

I kinda like this idea. I just hope with this new update they add alot of quests. I don't want them to be the same ones but just add soe. You know what really pissed me off. Is when they added like 15 quests after you reached level 50 and beat the game um what's the point you can't get exp that was the dumbest thing I ever seen. I can't do fates I'm on ps3 its limited for me. I just want more quests. Like make quests for rare items stuff like that or Halloween add Halloween quests or just some ideas. Also it's so boring after fifty I don't wanna start a new character since there is no more quests and I can't fate grind. And doing cast rum over and over is so damn boring. I was so bored I got weaver to level fifty we need more please. I want to do another class.

Fate/dungeon grinding should not be the leveling path. As it presently stands, the game seems to largely end at about 35, and you're just screwing with us to, in large portion, painfully grind out the last 15 levels if we want to see the end of the main story.
Sounds to me like you quested and only quested. This is your problem.

The game was designed so that you dip into a little bit of everything to level up. When I was leveling my first class to 50, I did the following in no particular order:

    1. Quest
    2. If a FATE popped up nearby, I'll put my questing on hold to participate in the FATE for quick, easy exp.
    3. Hunting Log
    4. Every 5 levels, I gathered some friends and knocked out some Guildhests.
    5. Do a couple dungeons every level to keep up on your gear and it also provides good exp assuming your group is good. If you're a DPS, just queue up for a dungeon and quest while you wait.

If you cycle through those 5 things (depending on what you feel like doing at the time), then you won't run out of quests. This is Final Fantasy, not World of Warcraft. You have many options to level.

That stopped working for me around level 45. After that point I find you have basically no quests and you have to grind fates and dungeons. I have always hit up every single fate I could and generally run each dungeon four or five times.

Your issue is pretty weird... I think that you are not able to find where the quest are because you must have questions till lvl 50. I have my bard lvl 50 and have a lot of side quest availables

"Alot" is the wrong word to describe the number of quests between 35-49. If there where alot of sidequests you would not need to do any other content to reach cap. Some like this and some don't. The problem here is that the lack hurts those that want them more than what plenty of sidequest would hurt those who do not want them as they do not need to do most sidequests to unlock the whole game.
