How do you find and equip skills available from other classes?

I started as CNJ thinking all classes I subsequently play will have a heal skill available to use. Reached level 10 and swapped class only to hunt in vain for a way to equip a heal skill.

1. Is there a level requirement for the secondary class before it can equip skills from previous classes? (if not, where do I find these skills to equip them?)

2. Why does the AOE heal sometimes heal those nearby and sometimes not? (seemed to work on anyone attacking same target, but didn't work when I just random healed an area I ran through)

3. Also can anyone tell me at what level CNJ gets Raise skill?

What is your other class? Not all classes can learn every cross skill. Here's a good chart you can use as reference: http://www.ffxivguild.com/ff14-cross-class-skill-guide/

CNJ get raise at level 12. However, to be able to use it in battle, you need to be level 28 to get enhanced raise.

1. I think lvl 5. To look for them:

(ps3 user)
start>action and traits (under 1st drop)>additional
under here appear the classes u have develop and unlocked cross skills
select that clases, skills appear on right side, check the box next to skill to assign it to space (visible in lower portion of that window); then assign to hotbar..

2. no sure but i think MEDICA just work c party members (protect only work with party members)

Atm I'm level 3 ARCH. I was looking to use CURE and maybe PROTECT, both of which show available on that link (which I have bookmarked, thanks).

But where are they to equip? I looked on the 'actions and traits' as I couldn't find anywhere else to look.

wait... i trying to verified that.. i think is lvl 5, but cant find a guide... if u r going with you archer and cant find it as abive might be that.. if i find anything will post here :P

EDIT: it seems you can use them since start as long as you unlock them with the other classes (sorry i would have swear i read smt bout lvl 5, maybe the fact that u unlock an extra spot for crossing confused me)... anyway:
if you go with your archer lvl 3 as above and under additionals select conjurer (u seems to be lvl 9, so u should have it there) the cross skill should appear on the right side..

That's why then. You get a slot for every 5 levels, with a max of 5 skills that you can cross over. If you are level 3, you won't have a slot available yet.

omg.. thx for confirming this.. i though so, but try to verified to post a basic guide for TC and cont finding that u can start at lvl 1.. I Though i have gone insane.. lol

there ipu go TC.. just hit lvl 5 (is done pretty easy/fast) and follow the steps above

If u are a conj, when u hit lvl 30 pick up the archanist and level it to 15, then u can become wm which is cross class with conj

^^^ This is correct. You get 1 slot ever 5 levels up to 10 slots on your base class. Jobs get 1 slot every 10 levels, which is a max of 5 slots.

Also... Every class can use Cure and Protect. Not every job can, though.
