Final Fantasy XIV Announces New Content at TGS

I'm not sure if anyone saw this. Nothing really new announced but thought I'd share.


For 2.1 update.

-Player Housing
-Several new dungeons
-PvP Arena
-Treasure hunting (no real info other than it's finding treasure and can be done solo or in a group)
-Hard mode against a special foe (they're keeping the monster's identity a secret for now)
-Daily primal quests
-Content Finder - Random Matching (Various content with random match-ups. Will give tokens for equipment.)
-Beauty Parlor (change your hairstyle)

Did they not already mention Good King Moogle Mog would be in 2.1? But damn, I hope it is a proper Odin fight though... FATE is trash for so many reasons (lag/etc being the least in my opinion...).

I don't know if it was a joke or not but there was a Shantoto fate and shantoto pet.

also its one dungeon (plus i think two hard mode dungeons ) and one raid (Crystal tower)

I read somewhere that Yoshi said it was one of the fights in a current instance that the players thought had potential to be really cool but was just easy. People said they'd love to do a "hard mode" of that fight. I'm guessing Ultima Weapon DF hard mode. Or a redo of the last battle that requires more then "don't stand in purple stuff, roll face on keyboard".

Ah, that would be cool. Ultima Hard Mode would be epic, since it also doubles up as fighting the trio of Primals to an extent (something I really want).

Treasure for what though? Is it something a gatherer finds that is meant to be used as a gatherer....or is it actually used for parties to spawn mobs, or used to enter an instance.
