They need have a rage quit penalty system for duty finder PuG groups.

Need have it that what ever time is left in the dungeons you got left then unable to join back into the duty finder untill your that time runs out.

Then have a vote system in place if 75% vote leave or more in the dungeon and they all vote to leave then you can leave the dungeon like online football game forfeits. No issue

Pick up Groups are PUGs. They can bee good or terrible. One way to stop the terrible ones.

15min seems fair to avoid playing with someone you don't like.

Most "Rage quit" moments seem to be something like this. *Tank examines everyone* *long pause* *Tank sees one person who is not overgeared* *Long rant about gear* *Tank leaves* Oh and a full rage quit after one pull of Garuda HM where it's not dead first time. If people want to quit instead of working around problems then they should have to wait. Or we'll just get tanks quitting and joining new groups until they get everything their way.

    I think it's longer.

I was in a WP DF group that kept wiping on the last boss because the tank refused to kite the small ones around (which is the only way I've successfully seen it done). I kept saying as much but I was being ignored and we kept wiping so I left.

I crafted for a bit but then decided to queue up for something different and I was unable to because it said something like can't queue for another 20 mins and this was at least 10-15 minutes after I left.

So I think there is a very serious stealth penalty for quitting df groups. I don't normally do it so I don't know how long it is.

Its only supposed to be a 15min wait but its really bugged. Last time I got dc'd it was stuck at the ten minute mark for just over an hour. I eventually just quit the game and when I logged back in a few hours later it only took another half hour.

The reason of full rage quit during primal fight is because we will not able to add new party member into the arena, you can check your df list and see the requirements of primal fight. And full rage quit usually happened when someone quit first and other party members have no choice so quit too.

This topic has been posted so many times already. We do not need larger penalties for leaving a DF duty. What we need to do, in an effort to prevent rage quiting, is prevent crappy players from entering the DF in the first place.

No one should be penalized for leaving a incompetent group. No one wants to wipe on the same boss 10 times because one player makes the same mistake over and over. No one wants to suffer thru an instance where the tank takes 75% hp loss on single hits from trash mobs. Some players are just plain stupid, or just plain rude. There is no reason someone should be penalized for not wanting to play with mean/rude players.

This is the biggest problem as I see it. I'm not sure why dungeons are handled this way, but it's kind of insane that players can't just send someone a tell and pull them into the instance. Frankly, if that were at least possible, the negative effects of quitting a group (for whatever reason) would probably be lessened.
