I don't think I've ever noticed Esuna's proc go off, to be honest. I DO understand why Leeches is a job ability (it's so SMN don't get it). Wouldn't mind SCH getting their version at 30, though.

I think they wanted to introduce the shielding mechanic as early as possible, which is why Adlo is 30. And it's painful until you get Succor; Whispering Dawn with Fey Illumination is okay, but you don't have Rouse yet to make it really shine (and it's a HoT, so no insta-healing).
I didn't even know Esuna had a proc, lol. It's really negligible as there are very few situations where you need to spam Esuna.
I'm guessing the devs thought Embrace+Adloquium was enough to sustain through poisons, but Brayflox and Cutter's Cry can be miserable.

Heck, it helps on the first boss of Brayflox although it is possible to power heal through the poison. The final boss is definitely more effort, though.
I definitely missed it during Cutter's Cry my first run through of that as well, primarily on the second boss for that sandstorm effect. Thankfully, you get Leeches if you've capped the dungeon so it's only temporary if you're running it at the lower end of it's range.
There's a few trash mobs in Sunken Temple that poison, but it's not hard to just heal through those moments so I didn't miss it in that dungeon.

Yeah, I've seen SCH's struggle a bit healing the tank on the last Boss of Brayflox when the poison count hits 4 from repeated hits/vomit. It's not impossible by any means, but it would have been nice for SCH's to get it a bit earlier.

The Tank isn't helping if they've taken 4 hits of the vomit poison. It's not that hard to dodge.
And good old bottled NQ Antidote takes it off too. When I go for Brayflox runs I make sure I have a stash of Antidote because I can't be sure the party healer has Esuna, or knows to use it, or remembers to use it in the heat of battle.
No, but I've had it stack to four on me via his melee. It's got a 45 second duration, and he refreshes more often than that. If you don't have antidote, well, uh... kite. That's what I did!The Tank isn't helping if they've taken 4 hits of the vomit poison. It's not that hard to dodge.

Sunken Temple? Really? I don't really remember anything there that needs leeching. Brayflox last boss on the other hand /shudder. Especially if the tank can't/won't avoid dragon breath and move the dragon from the vomit. Makes my life as a scholar very painful.
Cutters' Cry is another place where leeches is a must with the sandworm dot thing and Chimera's paralyzes/heavies if the party has trouble moving to the right place. :S
Give me Aetherflow for free MP, and Lustrate. Then you can have Esuna :P
j/k

Haha, I wonder if that was me? Cutter's Cry was the most obvious one to me, but there might be others.
