- Players are now able to interact with Quest giver NPCs while mounted. This also applies to vendors. Players still have to dismount to interact with objects/destinations in the world.
- A function to choose what quests to track/untrack is now available. Players may track up to 7 quests simultaneously.
- An option to auto skip cut scenes in Duties is now available and shown upon the first cut scene
- Players may now use the /tell function even if they are in Duties. The Free Company button is no longer greyed out and is visible even if a player is participating in a Duty.
- The possibility to compare gear rewards and gear from vendors and market with your current gear is now available.
- Tool tips on mouse-over have been added to the game which explain most of the icons, abbreviations and functions on the HUD.
- Your retainer's bag is no longer split into 7 small bag but shown as one large bag and is also upgradeable for a fee.

- The World Map has been revamped with new functions:
¤ Players can see available quests, leves, FATEs in other regions than the one the player is currently at
¤ Hovering over quests on the map also reveals the recommended player level for that quest
¤ Right clicking on the map zooms you out to a land view, and then to a world view
