What are your dream patch notes for 2.1?

Aside from content already announced, of course.

Mine are:

- You will no longer receive rewards from any Duty unless you were on the threat table for the last boss.
- Kick vote functionality has been added to the Duty Finder and will require a 3/4 or 6/8 majority.
- Players will have longer Duty Finder cooldown times if they are kicked by vote, or leave before a Duty is finished.
- Players who frequently initiate kick votes will have dramatically increased cooldowns for initiating kick votes, which reset to their maximum length upon entering a dungeon.
- Immediately following the completion of a Duty in the Duty Finder, you may choose to honor your teammates for being helpful or friendly. Players with a sufficient honor ratio for their latest 30 Duties will receive increased tomestone and extra gil rewards.
- You may now hide the helmet of any Heavy armor set.
- Blacklist and Report Spam options has been added to the context menu which opens when a name is right-clicked or selected in the chat window.
- Fantasia is now purchasable from the Mog Station.

Apparently one mans dream note is another man's nightmare-game-breaking-abusable-exploit-filled note.

*Pentamelding has been increased to become heptamelding; of course difficulty has been adjusted accordingly.


*Crafting professions can now craft gear that is 10 ilevels below the best dungeon/token gear in the game. (Combined with above, it means that crafted HQ gear heptamelded would be best in the game)


* A bed in the shape of a giant moogle.

So you want people to not be able to remove players that are verbally abusive or intentionally wiping? And before anyone brings out that old 'just report them' whine, it doesn't work. Not unless:

- Players' servers are now included with their character names when they join a party using the Duty Finder.

Fix the positional lag. For the love of everything good in this world, fix the lag. Also there is way more abuse now without a vote kick feature than with one. Wish people would understand that. It's the lesser of two evils.

When I saw the vote/kick thing, all I thought was that people would use it to kick first timers watching cutscenes, and no progression would ever be made by any new playerbase (without the help of friends). Either that or it was just a way for elitists to kick undergeared/unwanted classes..... A griefing tool is all that comes to mind.

Joking aside (or not);

1. I hope that war gets a buff/tweak to increase its hp and defiance/wrath mechanics to help off-set its lack of dmg mitigation. At 9999 hp a war can tank like a pld with roughly 5000 hp. Its very sad atm.
2. Dye-able AF. I want my wine red pld and snow white war NOW!!!!
3. Mobs in dungeons 45+ drop tomes around 1-3. It really adds up when you kill everything plus coupled with the reward tomes you get upon completion.
4. Render priority ENEMY/BOSS > PARTY > NPC/POI > OTHER PC > CHOCOBO/SUMMON > MINION > OTHER
5. In addition to number 4 changing target does not make the prior target disappear. ie. when switching from boss to adds in fates the boss doesn't disappear.
6. Elemental strengths and weaknesses!!! How is fire doing more dmg than ice to a Bomb?
