No, it's exactly the same. I have just now tested it and confirmed that. "You gain the effect of Nald'thal's Ward". That's the buff message you get on Fisher and Botanist when you use Nald'thal's Ward. On all three classes, the description for the action says "Increases the fire shard yield by two"; this includes the tool tip for the hotbar button. The one place you *do* see "Affinity to the element fire is increased while gathering" is in the hover text for the buff icon. This text is present for all three classes as well. I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that minor text like that (which many players never see) is simply outdated.

Not that message.... the message on the buff icon itself. you know, the one at the top of the screen?

Did you really think I was talking about the "you use this" message?

To be honest, yes, I did. You were not clear. And in any case, I also mentioned the buff icon tooltip as well. As I stated, it does state "Affinity to the element" and so on, but it does this for all classes, not just Fisher. I believe that this simply out of date and has not been updated to match the clearly stated text on the ability itself.
