according to tanaka the original fatigue system was only a temporary system to be in place until the ps3 came out since the pc version came out way before it. it was only meant as a way to keep pc players from getting too far ahead of the ps3 players before they could begin playing. they didn't intend for it to be in game so far already, but they already had in mind for the ps3 version to be out.

It also didn't really work at all as some people have 50's fairly quickly in comparison to others. People with more time and who want to hit the cap fast will, there's no stopping it. It was originally intended to slow people down so Tanaka could stall for time to put endgame in.

    exactly

the ONLY time it makes sense to stop is for crafting when the materials are expensive, and that isnt even often

Pretty much what I think whenever I hear someone complain about hitting surplus. It's seriously not a big deal, don't pay it any mind and you'll hardly even notice it's there. I went from 48-50 in fatigue and it didn't take that long.

Another thing. You'll get out of fatigue after getting some SP lol so if you stopped playing those classes for days and are still in fatigue, try killing a monster and see if it's still there.

I'm just gonna play through it then. It does put a downer on things though.

Though to be honest WoW has the same system theirs is just not as extreme it does the same thing. People tend not to grind when their rested xp is wore off.
What? No one does this. Seriously, what world are you living in? People enjoy having rested exp, but no one stops playing when it goes away. It's a bonus, this games fatigue is the complete opposite.

Just ignore fatigue on battle classes... Only crafting classes if the Synth is expensive should you worry about fatigue...

At max it takes 30-40% away you gain, but if you are having fun.. then who really cares... just play and ranks come
