A solution for fixing speed runners in CM and Prae that tell everyone to skip CS.

The easiest damn solution to fix this problem is remove the tomes from them and then the speed runners will have to find other dungeons to farm off of completely. The reason for this is to preserve the amazing story line that people should be experiencing without being forced to skip the CS and in fact I'm hearing now that people are not actually getting some of the CS in the inn from these dungeons and now this just makes the whole experience ruined by speed runners if you end up in a group with them as they might never be able to view the cut-scenes.

The other solution is to just lock everyone into the cut-scene too and that will make speed runners run off to another dungeon for sure. I also think its a good idea to just remove the timer for these dungeons as people should be able to enjoy it at a decent pace instead of being rushed by a timer.

Easy there.. Your solutions would not work because then all those level 50 would stop queuing for your story dungeon, making it harder to find a party to complete the required content if you happen to be in a not-so-helpful FC...

And where do you think you gonna get enough ppl to form a pt for new comers then? It's not like new players will join the game every day, not to mention class balances & timeframe. & after awhile there will be no one else care to do CM anymore once they got through it. And it will be impossible for new players to continue the story, unless they get some help from their FC, but that would do the job in the first place...Loading...

Personally I dont think demanding a forced wait period on an entire raid/group on 1 person. Quite the opposide. And I dont even mind to wait on people who want to watch the cutscenes, heck when someone demands to skip, Id encourage them to watch.
An actual and fair sollution would be asking for a check box where someone can indicate if they do or dont want cutscenes, that way everyone gets to play the way they want to play.

to just watch the cutscenes anyways? Nobody can force you to skip it. If you're there for the story, enjoy the story. If people queue for CM via duty finder and get mad when it's not a speed run, they have an entirely different set of problems.

The last thing we need is yet another nerf.

The solution is very easy. If you wanna do speedruns , then dont join the duty finder for CM without party. Just shout for a group or tag with you LS/FC buddies. If you are going alone for a Speedrun , dont cry if people are enjoying the cutscenes.

Yep, they should never have mixed farming content with story progression content.

Honestly, people who queue in DF and ask you to skip cut-scenes can go jump. From what I understand there's plenty of time to complete Castrum in the allotted 2 hours.

Same issue. Eventually there won't be enough people queued for the story mode dungeon and people will be stuck on that quest forever.
