    kiting maybe fun to some, but why should you be able to avoid every single monster attack at the same time giving damage.
    Other problem is kiting becomes not just a personal thing, but a way of life, for the game. It was a long time before people fought kirin.
    If you want a game with kiting tactics, it should be tactics, not automatic win if you can put bio on a monster.
    This essentially means monsters should have a fighting chance from range, which is actually accurate right now. The advantage you get from ranged attacks, is that they arent usually tp attacks, they are generally slower, and they are usually magical.

    I do think some monsters need more range before they quit on you, to make kiting, and running away more difficult, but mpk is a real issue, and really if an animal knows he cant keep up with another hes usually going to stop trying.

    On topic, being able to invite people mid combat would be nice, but once its there people abuse it, and you really can just stop after one fight and invite them, its not that bad a tax, disconnects could use a special solution, like on bosses for example it could suck badly, but if they do away with claiming entirely, like they mentioned somewhere, i guess that will be a non issue, they ll just lose some exp from the monster.
