    Some Changes I Would Like to See

    Return Points:
    The ability to chose whether or not to set a return point when clicking on an Aetheryte. Currently, clicking on an Aetheryte automatically sets it as a return point. Perhaps the current automatic function should remain when initiating a levequest.

    Chat Box:
    A Linkshell chat and Party chat tab. Currently, there are only General chat and Battle chat tabs. It makes it difficult to search for party or linkshell chat, especially when engaging in battle.

    Other Player Engagement:
    Menu option to send a tell to another player when that player is selected. Currently we can only check, browse, trade, or invite to party or linkshell.

    Regional Levequests:
    Levequests are marked as failed if you are disconnected from the server during the levequests. It would be nice if this did not happen.

    Additionally:

    Anima Recharge:
    Faster Anima recharge would be great.

    Cotton Wear Color:
    The Blue color in cotton wear is far too white. I can barely see any blue in it.

    Inventory:
    Additional inventory sorts separating equipment/gear from other items.

    a response

    1) return points, i agree on this fully
    2) chat box: you do realize you can use filters to change this in your setup right? battle and general chat are the defaults it sets them to. go experiment its easy to figure out. i crrently have a tab for chatting alone, and a tab for the other stuff i care about seeing beyond chat(like sp gains)
    3) Anima recharge, this has been adjusted once and something else is being done with it soon.
    4) inventory has also been mesdsed with before with more coming

    1. Return Points are automatic incase you forget to set it and die then return in Ul'dah. If you do then you'll fail the leve.

    2.There are 4 Chat Boxes. 2 are Active automatically 2 more you have to activate in the menu. You can also set filters for what each box displays. I currently have one box set to only show chat messages and the other all battle messages and they are both visible on screen at once.

    3. Agreed.

    4. If you are in a party the levequest is not failed and you can rejoin it when you log back in. Don't do them solo if this concerns you.

    5. Theres a Dev post about Anima changes that hasn't be translated yet. Also we have Chocobos coming soon.

    6. Blue Cotton is "Baby Blue"

    7. Inventory already does this.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     you can rejoin the leve when you rejoin, but if it is your leve it does auto fail the leve in your journal. you also lose the links that others have with your link on the leve. if you are getting 600sp per kill before dc in a max link leve and aspected when you come back you can rejoin the leve, but only get around 180sp. you also cannot get your rewards for completing the leve. you only get the small amount of gil people not running the leve get.

    I'm sure he meant he wants to just get to redo the leve from scratch. I don't agree with this because its easily exploitable (i.e., in an NM leve is the group finds that they're losing the fight they can just DC and redo it) but I'm sure you know what he meant. You and the other guy.

    i actually thought he meant that since the timer is still running on the leve since the party can continue it why can he not pick back up there and not have to wait til the next reset to complete. i've had that complaint since release so i took it that way. if i crash i lose the rewards and my guardians aspect along with the links of the rest of my party. why can those not be given back as long as the leve is still going and not completed? yes, i can rejoin the leve, but at that point my leve is failed.

    it's no different than if you have guild support and crash when you come back your timer is still running. in a leve when you fail and come back the timer is still running, but you cannot continue to try and complete the leve for your rewards.

    edit: if you come back and the leve has been completed or failed while you were gone it should be failed until next reset.

    i started a thread like this a few days ago. i would like to do away with the everyone teleporting and leave it back for just mages. it set a demand for mage teleporting and it just feels alittle weird that everyone can teleport, made more sense when it was magic. lol i know everyones gonna disagree with me on that one.
    i also want to add an auction house, the curent system is really anoying, sure its improved but it still takes way too long to get my money and sell my stuff. and not to mention, there all seperated in their own cities. just add and auction house and make everyone happy.
    i want a menu with the "check, invite to party, trade invite to linkshell" options to pop up when i click on someone. currently, it brings up my normal spells and attacks, which is stupid because i cant attack them anyway. it would make it easier with less confusion and it wont clog up the top of my menu.

    With the way the skills work in this game having teleport be mage only would mean Mages would be spending skill slots to keep the spells ready if they need them so that theres not a cooldown when its needed. I'd rather not.

    it doesnt seem like a big issue to have one slot taken up that says teleport, and would bring up the same menu that the normal teleport option does. it doesnt even have to cost any action slot points to equip. it would just use up mp. im not thinking about having each camp and city teleport take up its own slot. that would be redonkulous
