i know the 40% of the community is using these programs

    so i got 3 question:

are these programs legit or bannable?

    and

why i must pay another subscription for fix/play a game broken?

    and

for that reason i must pay the ffxiv subscription if they are unable to fix these problems?what is used for my money
It does not reduce the lag to 0, the 0 you see is the time from ffxiv to the vpn client on your machine, which is 0. From the vpn client to the ffxiv server's is much harder to see.

It is like seeing the time from your house to the interstate on-ramp, what you don't see is the travel time on the interstate.

And it isn't bannable because it is not modifying ffxiv in any way. It is a VPN connection, Windows has it's own VPN software built-in as well. VPN connections create a communication channel from your computer to a VPN server through the internet.

Why do you need it? Well it seems that ffxiv was designed and tested in Japan with connections of 30ms or less. It will work with connections that have 160ms or more ping but most end-game encounters become pretty much unplayable unless you memorize them and effectively play with your eyes closed

This is not something the ISP will change for you either, because they do it to save themselves money. Many people won't see this issue, and many will. Before someone says "get another ISP" you don't always have that choice, and even if you do, the choice isn't really a choice. The only other decent provider here is wireless, and that is horrid to play games on, a light rain and your connection dies.
Yes I agree. Telling everyone to get a better ISP is not always possible. By designing the game the way they have SE has set a very high system requirement for your internet connection, basically you want around 50ms ping time. That's impossible for me to get.

It's like setting the minimum PC requirements as a Core i7 3.5GHz, 16GB DDR3 1600 RAM, SSD and Radeon 7970/GeForce GTX 770. They could have designed their game for that hardware or better but not a lot of people will be able to play it then. By designing and testing the game with 30ms ping they have made it a lot less playable for people who don't have that kind of connection and can't get it.

the very fact that this works shows you that the problem is NOT on SE's end.
If you would like to pay a service company that has set up a proxy server to connect you right to your destination, you can. They are in no way altering SE's packets to make them faster, nor are they rubbing cheetah blood on their servers.
