Please make items automatically return to inventory and not armory chest

I am in the phase where I wear a lot of temp gear and I am tired dragging items out of armory chest to inventory everytime I am done with it, please allow it to auto return to inventory unless we want to keep it in armory chest.

I don't know about "auto-return"; I wouldn't trust the machine to know what I want in my armory chest and what I don't. But I would love a button that says, "Press me to place all items in your chest that aren't part of a gear set in inventory". Just had that problem today where I retired items that I had forgotten were part of another gear set. My MRD was embarrassed to be without his pants.
