Why are tanks forced to be hidden?

Why am I not allowed to see the face of my character as a tank? Every single piece of endgame tank gear is that chest+head junk. All the time I put into customizing my character, and all I get to see is the Tinman every time I play.

Do I really have to wait until my relic set to get to see my face again? How is that fair? I'm tired of looking just like every other tank in the game. The "hide head gear" feature needs to work on the Darklight and Darksteel sets of armor.

I dont have a tank at 50 but /visor might help

Doesn't work on darklight/ heavy armors :\

Visor doesn't work on the Combined Head/Chest because it is considered a Chest Piece.

That command doesn't work on those sets of armor, either.

With the DL armor, we technically don't even have any head armor on. It counts as only a chest piece, that happens to have head armor attached.

You know you can choose to hide helmet in character menu? Tanks with end game gear can't do this.... Obviously.

Agree completely. I hate my forced helmet, maybe if it looked cool but it looks like a big bird head......

Just what was SE thinking when doing this to tanks? Just look at me. I'm just another generic tank. Slap a barcode on me.
