Cannot do Paladins pledge quest

I have a lvl 31 gladiator and a lvl 16 conjuror but when i attempt to take the paladins pledge quest its red and says in requirements you need a lv 15 conjuror?

Ive done the main story and class quests at lvl 30 and lvl 15 on both characters and still cannot take the quest.

Ive tried talking on the chat support and to the game master in game, and both say they cant help and to go on the forums, to which i still find no answers or help.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Have you spoken to Lulusu (the GLA Guild Receptionist) first? She'll ask you about whether you're interested in becoming a PLD and will then send you to speak to Jenlyns (the actual PLD quest giver) on the Hustings Strip. I have a feeling this part is needed to flag the quest as active.

The only other thing I can think of is are you trying to get the quest while as another class/Job? You actually have to be GLA to get the quest flagged, not just have GLA and CNJ at their required levels and then speak to the npc as another class/level.

EDIT: never mind, I read your identical post in the Bugs section and what the real issue is - as was stated on that thread, you need CNJ as level 15 on the same character you want to unlock PLD as, not on another character.

So, head to Gridania and start levelling CNJ!

I see OP has no level for CNJ on the character selected, from what I could see in lodestone search.
