    GeForce GTX/Nvidia driver update

Hi all, I'm sure a lot of you game with nvidia based cards, so I figured I would post just in case some weren't aware of the new driver/GeForce Experience updates(9/19)

Before this update, the game was choppy, walking around at 25 fps dipping to 5-15 depending on what is on screen at the moment. Pretty unenjoyable, and almost unplayable in-city. I was not hopeful as everything I was trying was not helping, and I really really wanted to get into this game.

I am an archer out of Gridania so tons of trees with tons of shadows. I found that turning the setting that controls how good shadows look at longer distances down helps a lot.

After the update, I now run around at 70 fps constantly, everywhere. Also, instead of overclocking in MSI afterburner, I tuned it to stock w/ 100% fan speed, and it ran smoother than OCing it.

There is hope then! Add me if you're on Balmung

    the rest of my setup:
    MSI 990FXA-GD80
    AMD FX-4170
    16GB @ 1866
    ASUS GTX 550ti
