Does gear change still break autofollow like it did in 11? Because, just run them into the most massive group of agro you can find.

Between the afkers and the tanks that take one look at the party, decide they suck by the looks of them, and force DC themselves, and having to run the stupid instance 100+ times, I've learned to hate castrum.

hmm. Yes! Indubitably!
The sad thing was that this guy was on Scholar so we couldn't even complete the dungeon because the other healer couldn't keep up without pulling too much hate. (We had two warrior tanks.) After two wipes on the 2nd boss, we all decided to leave. I'm kind of glad because even if we had kept at it and pushed through, dude would have been able to come back and just walk through to the exit.
I thought this thread would become a "Real Eorzean Heroes" spoof.
/disappointed

I would be fine with public posting of that player+ FC, because honestly Public shaming of this behavior is probably the only thing that would get people to stop doing it. My only concern is that the thread would be so long it wouldn't matter anyhow.
Most FC's would just laugh. Some might even give the guy props.
Two AFKers in CM yesterday, a healer and a Bard the rest of us just decided to quit and re-queue. We didn't want to give them the satisfaction or the free tomes.
SquareEnix is here only the second party to blaim. If the player in question did not AFK in an instance, nothing would be wrong at all, it is his choice to do so.
Only after that SquareEnix come into play as they could've made a function that a player gets kicked if they do not contribute in a dungeon.
