WoW is WoW and FFXIV is FFXIV.

Both have their advantageous and disadvantageous.

To put down a MMO like a rival high school football team just sounds silly.

And something inside of me is telling me that Blizzard isn't really shaking in their boots. As of this month they still have over 2.3 million subscribers. They pretty much made their profit the first month in 2003. Just let it be. If you hate wow, then you hate it. But don't proselytize to people here how much worse it is because I could do the very same thing about this game.

Bottom line is EVERY MMO has their issues and their strengths. If you don't like something and no longer wish to play a particular MMO, then move on. Don't act like a pissed off Cheerleader who had her strawberry Sunday dumped on her head.

First off, thank you, Hysterior (hope I spelled that correctly), for posting this info! Much appreciated!

Secondly, I'm pleasantly surprised by the data. Sometimes, I feel as if I'm so far behind "everyone else". I have only one adv class and one harvest class over 20 (and they're just barely over 20). All the rest are in the teens. I'm not rolling in gil. Sometimes it seems as if "everyone else" is in the mid-to-upper 30s on at least 10 different classes and has more gil than they know what to do with (as evidenced by some of the outrageous Market Board prices -- who can afford these things???).

This data, however, tells me I'm just plain average. And that suits me just fine. And, as a bonus, being Elezen, I'm a bit more rare, and that suits me fine, too!

It's nice to have this reaffirmation that it's ok to take my time and progress at my own pace!

That's a tiny fraction of WoW's numbers, but more importantly it would include Legacy players who didn't need to buy the game and just logged in to see what's changed. Actually subscription numbers next month will be a lot lower. I'm happy for this game's success, but you shouldn't say silly things like that.
