I didn't say anything about Japanese being much better, JP > NA; JP > All; No. I posted this thread to share you my experience that I had during hours spent on this server (And that happen to be Japan server). It is cool, a lot of us know what you meant, They just do not know how to take an opposed opinion, that is why they are the vocal minority. NA used forums to bash and complain, and the rest of them uses them for information sharing. It is a culture thing, It is cool in NA to troll and flame posts. You gota learn to just accept that they will always gripe.

On NA Diablos I always find friendly people in the DF. Ya there are the elitists as well, but thats literally everywhere in the world, not just localised to NA.

I guess Japan follows the way of bushido right? Thats why they are so kind and honorable right?! You dont even read Japanese you couldnt possibly notice if someone was being nasty or toxic. It doesnt matter where you were raised or live, there are good and bad people everywhere...

I was a fake JP back in the XI days. I had a JP search comment macroed, when I joined a party, I /p'ed Yoroshiku, and stayed silent after that.

Why did I do this? It's true that not all NA players are idiots and not all JP players are godlike. However, there's something called a "trend" that I noticed among NA players. That trend was that NAs tended towards idiocy, selfishness, individual "me me me"ism and all around mediocrity, and JPs tended toward collectivism, efficiency, and teamwork to actually get stuff done. This translated into a higher XP/hour rate. In all my years of partying, I blacklisted one JP and many many MANY NAs for playing like idiots.

if you had 100x DF runs with NA and 100x runs with JP, you'll understand the differences

of course it's not for everyone, no one is saying that
but based on my own experience, i can say that JP community is better than NA

I feel the same way about Ultima as OP does. The JP Community servers are much better environments than the EU/NA ones. And I too no longer use the E in Duty finder.

Honestly I'm amazed that OP wasn't immediately booted from DF parties for being a gaijin. OP, are you being a fake JP? Do you speak any English in these parties, or do they know you're a gaijin?

Haha, My FC is literally named "Gaijin" Its the largest English speaking FC on Ultima.


The reason I chose a Japanese Server was because I played FFXI for 11 years, I enjoyed the companionship even if we have to talk [Like this].
