    Tab Targetting Radius needs to be way smaller

    I really believe this would fix a lot of the major problems with the tab targetting at the moment. There are times when it targets enemies that are much too far away and it just makes no sense and can really get in the way of battle. Just because I can see it on the screen doesn't mean I should be able to target it. I believe shortening the radius for the target range would vastly improve these issues.

    Not only smaller, but far more intuitive. It does me no good when I'm trying to tab around to an enemy right in front of me, and it targets some random mob way off in the distance to the left practically off my screen. Precise tabbing to other targets in front of you is next to impossible when you have a large number of mobs on screen (FATEs, dungeons, etc.), which has proven incredibly aggravating on many occasions. Tab targeting needs a good overhaul.

    I don't think lowering the range is a good idea, but it definitely needs a fix to choose which enemy to target more effectively.

    There should be an option to only tab through targets in spell range, and one for targets in melee range. It's super annoying as a tank to be tabbing between the three things you're holding and target some mob like two rooms away.

    yep, this is bit of a problem, and not just that, but focus on targets in front of my camera, not targets behind, had that as well, if im looking at it, im pretty sure im gonna be hitting it

    An option to prioritise enemies that are targeting you would probably be the most beneficial, rather than just shortening the range.

    Not only does tab targeting need an improvment, target nearest enemy aswell.

    I didnt notice these issues much when I played my warrior or other melee classes. But when I started to play the Archer the issue is quite big, especially in areas with many mobs.

    It's annoying if you wanna play with your camera scrolled out. You have one enemy infront of you 20 away and 3 mobs behind you 10 away, you tab or target the nearest enemy and bam you end up targeting the trash behind you. Or if you pull more than one target and wanna kite and maybe CC one of them for a while, you pop tab/nearest and expect to get your secondary target but instead you target something behind you, outside your characters LoS, accidentally grabbing you more aggro instead of easing it.

    Please SE, look into this and make a proper targeting system.

    Does anyone actually enjoy how the targeting currently works? O.o

    Gah this all damn day. This target priority is brutal as a monk.

    Love when im in a dungeon and at a boss fight tab off to the adds, then when i go to tab back to the boss the target priority is the little 2 foot tall floating ifrit nearly behind me over the three story tall statue killing everyone....yes auto target that's right please let me target ifrit because there are so many more important options i as a monk have with targeting a summoners pet over the boss mob >.<

    I also find it really annoying when im doing a fate, see an ally that could really use a heal, and it takes me a year and a half to finally tab onto them and send a heal out. I'm enjoying playing with a controller and would like to continue doing so, but this is really annoying. Not only should tabbing be fixed but it may be helpful to have just tab switch targeted enemies and shift+tab (R2 and directional button for controller) to switch through allies that you arent in a party with. Tab targeting is really my only complaint so far... Damn fine game.
