You mean Like western MMO dungeons? I expect it, I hope they aren't, but I really do expect it.If they do an 17b where they add npc's to tell me about it or only the quest hub places tell me about it but in june I can actually do it, i'll be happy
no dungeons in June then I quit XD, tbh no good dungeons i quit lol if i finish it in like a day and has no reply value, lames
Hopefully when you enter the dungeons healing is disabled. That would give most people a reason to carry around potions and elixirs and add to the difficulty.
I'm agree but i'd put a sort of "malus" in dungeons instead to forbid the healing. This malus could be that the mp auto-regen is VERY slow or simply absent, like originally thought by Tanaka. This will encourage the use of potions as well.
Stygian Spikes / Siphon MP => problem solved.
Magic has always made items more or less useless in all FFs, sadly.
Disable those abilities then![]()
But hold on... Because at the end of the dungeon you'll get to face something scary... Something heart-pounding and wild...June, and dont expect the quests to be anything insane, but they more than likely will be the start locations for getting enterance to the new dungeons. Its copy+paste of already ingame assets found in other "hub" locations, +copy pasted quest system and then a new dungeon with copy+pasted mobs
A BIGGER version of a copy-pasted monster!!! /panic
I'm very curious to see which kind of 'graphics' they'll use in these dungeons. If they are preparing something totally new or they are creating these istances in the already existing dungeons..
I've been thinking about that as well Munba. I have a feeling we'll be getting something recycled. =(
I really hope that's not the case though.
Hopefully we get some unique and unseen monster types which only appear in the dungeons.
If I see another reused Dodo I'm guna punch someone, I stil can't believe the mid level NM's weren't even a different pallette swap. (very lazy dev team)
I would love to see something like a gaint "and i mean giant" pudding boss, that changes element and divides into 6 different elementals types during multiple phases of the fight.

some people say they want tough dungeons that you cant complete in a few hours... uhhhhh.... exactly how long do you think it should take to complete a dungeon
On that line of thinking though, it might be cool if they implement one of those super big dunegons that you can revisit, with like 100 levels or something. I wouldnt expect it for the first ones, but nyzul was sort of an example of this, anddd its pretty common in offline rpgs. Its pretty fun, has a far off goal, but its also very repeatable, and his mini goals, so one feels like they are progressing in small bursts.
