    CRC errors and reboots during installation

    When I try to install the game, the installer sometimes gives me CRC errors - always for different files, and sometimes the PC would just reboot in the middle of the installation. I tried backing up the DVD and installing from an image - still the same thing. When I tried skipping past all those errors, the game finally installed and started updating, but after downloading the second update it started checking it, and the PC rebooted once again just after the checking had started. What should I do? Thanks.

    This sounds as something more than a corrupted disc.

    What kind of PC do you have, and is it a new one?

    Get something to test your memory like memtest86 or similar.

    Also, it would be a good idea to check that your memory modules are operating at the correct voltage and latency settings.
