So yesterday (I think?) some guy achieved seemingly impossible and got his girlfriend to play this game. And we thought women didn't exist, did we not?

Y'know, I assume most players are the same gender as their character, but you are very clearly a Manthra. I know a substantial amount of women who play this game; indeed, this was true of FFXI as well. One of the leaders of my FC is a lady, and my sister and I play together. How can you be so ignorant to think only guys play video games? Have you learned nothing from the controversies at TED, PAX and so forth about women, geekdom, and popular sexism against women?

I've stopped reading PA and following Tycho or Gabe as a result of Krahulik's comments of late, and his defense by the rest of PA. Just ... no more. I don't need to be female for this stuff to be so offensive as to be unconscionable.
