So I bought one of these:

It claims it gives a 50% xp bonus to gathering activities for up to 40,000 points.

I used one thinking it was a crafting one by mistake and decided to make use of it anyways and went out and gathered. Over 70,000XP in and I'm still getting the 50% boost.

Am I misunderstanding how this works, is the tooltip wrong, or is this a bug?
